Your tour guide is Brian McDougall, a former public servant, university teacher and long-time activist in Ottawa. He is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Indigenous and Canadian Studies at Carleton University.
As a teacher, policy-wonk, trade unionist and social movement activist, Brian has lots of experience with Indigenous issues, anti-racism, women’s rights, anti-war movements, the struggle for gay rights, workers’ rights and other social justice issues.
