Cost and length
Tours last between 2.5 and 3 hours and cost $25 (cash) payable at the end of the tour.
All tours are available any day of the week, morning or afternoon, provided there are at least three people registered.
The 2017 tour season starts on Monday, May 1st and ends on Sunday, October 29th.
All tours are by registration only via this website.
Rideau Canal and Protest tours
The Rideau Canal and Protest tours begin at the giant spider statue (Maman) in front of the National Gallery on Sussex Drive and finish in the heart of downtown Ottawa.
Parliament Hill and Indigenous tours
The Parliament Hill and Indigenous tours start from the outdoor amphitheatre at the corner of Mackenzie and Rideau/Wellington, next to Milestone’s restaurant (across the street from the Chateau Laurier).
The Chaudière tour starts from the front steps of Library & Archives Canada at 395 Wellington Street.
All tours proceed rain or shine. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately and to bring water and sunscreen on hot days.
Both tours involve walking up and down inclines and some stairs. People with serious mobility issues are encouraged to contact us in advance to discuss possible accommodation.
